What is the PBG Link.com?

PBG Link.com is a not-for-profit informational website specialized in the coverage of photonic band gap research in particular and  microphotonics in general. Its predecessor "The Ultimate Collection of the Photonic Band Gap links" was launched initially by the author in 1998 at the webserver of the NEC Research Institute, Princeton. During these 4 years the site has been visited by more than 70000 unique visitors, most of whom are returning regularly. You can find an extended statistics here.

What is our mission?

Our goal is to make the PBG Link the informational gateway for the broad community of engineers, physicists, chemists and technologists from both academia and industry, who are interested and are currently working in the exciting area of photonic band gap materials. The author is trying to update and maintain the site on a more or less regular basis if his free time permits. 

Who is the author?

The site was compiled, designed and supported all these years by its author Yurii Vlasov. With his career move at the end of 2001 the site has also been moved to its current location. You can find more about the author on these pages.

Could you place an advertisement for my company on your pages?

As stated above the PBG Link.com is a not-for-profit organization and is not currently seeking for external support. As for now the only companies cited on its pages are those directly involved in photonic band gap research and development. No commercial advertisements are planned.
